SMD fuses receive PSE-JET approval

SCHURTER Product SMD fuse family types UMZ 250, UMF 250, UMK 250 according to IEC 60127-4 have received the Japanese PSE-Jet approval.  Featuring newly marked packaging, the fuse families UMF 250, and UMT 250 provide overcurrent and short circuit protection in primary and secondary circuits for a wide range of applications, including battery management systems, modems, lighting systems and power supplies. The compact 3 x 10.1mm SMD fuse series UMF 250 is rated 0.5A – 15A for voltages up to 250Vac and 125Vdc, with a breaking capacity up to 500A depending on current rating. The Time-Lag version UMT 250 is rated 0.08A – 10A 250Vac/Vdc with breaking capacity up to 200A. The range is complemented with the two types UMZ 250 and UMK 250, which consists of clips with pre-installed fuses for one-step installation. The clips allow for fuse replacement.
